2017 RIDE: DAY 2 RECAP

The Wheels4Water team had a challenging second day as they worked their way through a smoking hot Arizona. Needing to start early to make up a 60-mile deficit the team needed to start with some highway riding. The day also included a little bike repair, dealing with several flats, and an unforgiving 106-degree heat and headwind. Luckily the day ended with a cool nighttime finish and a grand total of 330 miles ridden! We’re are excited to be back on track and hopefully heading towards cooler weather. Stay tuned for more updates tomorrow on Day 3!

Special thank you to our sponsor for today CVM (cvm.com).

Please consider supporting the ride as we ride across America in 10 days for 10,000 Ugandans! give.lifewater.org/events/wheels-4-water-2017/e108439
